HYDERABAD: Two youths were arrested for allegedly chasing a family's car on the Ghatkesar-Boduppal highway on the outskirts of Hyderabad and causing panic among the occupants late at night.
Family chased after wedding trip
The family was returning home after attending a wedding when the accused, riding motorcycles, allegedly followed their car. Police said the youths rode their bikes across the vehicle's path and shouted in an apparent attempt to intimidate those inside.
The incident left the women and children travelling in the car frightened.
CCTV footage leads police to accused
Police launched an investigation using CCTV footage and identified the accused as Ranga Shiva, 21, and Akhil, 20, both residents of Hanmapur village in Bhuvanagiri mandal.
The two were arrested, and the motorcycles used in the incident were seized by the police.
