Telangana: Vehicular movement came to a halt on the Hyderabad to Vijayawada Highway near Chityal in Nalgonda district after heavy traffic congestion was reported on Saturday.
Following recent rains, floodwater accumulated under the Chityal railway bridge, forcing vehicles to move slowly towards Narketpalli from Hyderabad.
Traffic remained stranded for about 5 km, from Pedakaparthi to Chityal, causing inconvenience to motorists. Commuters urged officials to take immediate action to clear the water and ease traffic.
