HYDERABAD: Hyderabad police busted a fake paneer racket under the limits of Mahankali police station and seized over 3,000 kg of adulterated stock.
Officials of the Khairatabad Zone Task Force, along with food inspectors, conducted raids on six shops and outlets across the area.
Seizures from key outlets highlight scale of operation
Police seized 1,600 kg of adulterated paneer from Sri Balaji Dairy Products. Another 1,000 kg was recovered from Vijay Milk and Curd Shop, officials said.
The remaining quantity was seized from other outlets during the coordinated raids.

According to police, the accused were supplying adulterated paneer to multiple parts of Hyderabad.
A case has been registered, and further inquiry is underway to identify the full supply chain and distribution network.
