HYDERABAD: Intelligence officials and Kachiguda police conducted joint inspections at the office of 'Krish Security Force' (Fire Fighting Vigilance), operating from Tilak Nagar in Hyderabad.
The inspection revealed that the agency was functioning without a valid licence under the Private Security Agencies Regulation Act (PSARA) from the state controlling authority.
Case registered under legal provisions after inspection findings
Additional Director General of Police Vijay Kumar said an FIR (No. 121/2026) was registered against the agency owner under Section 223(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 20 of the Private Security Agencies Regulation Act, 2005, for violating legal provisions.
Warning issued to unlicensed private security agencies statewide
Vijay Kumar said strict action will be taken against private security agencies operating without government approval in the state.
He said that under the PSARA Act, 2005, every agency must hold a valid licence. If security guards or supervisors are appointed in violation of the rules, the penalty includes imprisonment of up to one year or a fine of ₹25,000.
He urged directors and owners of agencies currently operating without licences to obtain approvals through the official website (www.psara.gov.in) immediately. Failure to comply will invite legal action, he added.
