HYDERABAD: A Hyderabad court on Tuesday granted conditional bail to iBOMMA Ravi, who was arrested in a cinema piracy case and has been in judicial custody.
The court directed him to appear before the Central Crime Station (CCS) every day until further orders. Officials said the condition was imposed to ensure his cooperation with the ongoing inquiry.
The court ordered Ravi to surrender his passport and restrained him from leaving the country without prior permission. It said he must not attempt to influence witnesses or tamper with evidence.

The court also restricted his internet usage. It directed that he should not access the internet, and if required for any purpose, he must obtain prior approval from the police.
Ravi was arrested in connection with the alleged unauthorised streaming and circulation of newly released films. Police had earlier said they were examining digital devices and financial transactions linked to the case.
Further investigation is under way.
