KARIMNAGAR: Officials of the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught a Panchayat Raj assistant engineer allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹10,000 in Karimnagar district.
The accused, Paidi Satish, Assistant Engineer (Panchayat Raj) in Choppadandi mandal and formerly posted in Gangadhara mandal, was caught red-handed while allegedly accepting the bribe for showing official favour.
According to the ACB, the money was demanded to record and enter the measurements of cement concrete (CC) works in the Measurement Book (M Book), an official document used for executing and processing public works.
