TELANGANA: Senior Congress leader Konda Murali has denied reports that his family is planning to leave the party, saying there was no question of them quitting Congress.
Murali said his family had great respect and admiration for Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
Murali distances himself from daughter's remarks
Reacting to the controversy surrounding his daughter Sushmita Patel's remarks, Murali said the issue had nothing to do with him and that he would not comment on it.

"Sushmita is my only child. I have nothing to do with this controversy. It is entirely my daughter's matter. So, I will not speak about this controversy," he said.
Questioning how he could know his daughter's plans, Murali said, "She spoke about Plan A, but what she will do in Plan B, how do I know? How can I know my daughter's plan?"
Murali rules out leaving Congress
Responding to reports that the family could switch parties, Murali said there was no need for the media to rush to conclusions.
"We are not leaving the party. You do not need to be anxious. I have not even gone to Warangal today," he said.
On his meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Murali said they had met only to enquire about each other's well-being and that no other meaning should be attached to the meeting.
