MEDAK: Three people from the same family died in a road accident near Rampur in Kolcharam mandal of Medak district after a motorcycle collided with a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus on a national highway, police said.
The victims were travelling on the motorcycle when it crashed into the bus. Police said all three died at the spot.
The deceased were identified as a father, his son and a child. All three were residents of Medak district.
Police suspect overspeeding caused accident
Police said the accident occurred when the bus was travelling from Narsapur to Hyderabad.
Preliminary inquiry indicates that the motorcycle was moving at high speed and rammed into the bus, leading to the accident.
Police shifted the bodies to a hospital for postmortem. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway. Further details are awaited.
