Railways say temporary inconvenience is unavoidable

Parking contractor Shant Kumar said ushers guide visitors to walk on one side of the ramp. Authorities have also placed caution signs to help people move safely.

Railway officials said the inconvenience is temporary because construction is still in progress. They said they are issuing advisories regularly to guide passengers.

The upgraded station will feature 26 lifts, 32 escalators and two travelators to improve passenger movement.
