The plan aims to develop luxury estates, resorts, and villa communities in the forested region of Vikarabad district.
Officials said they have allocated about 81 acres of land for the developments. The projects aim to position the area as a major tourism and commercial hub and to provide employment opportunities for local residents.
The initiatives will include high-end villas, resorts, hospitality facilities, and tourism infrastructure. Authorities hope these attractions will draw visitors interested in eco-tourism and nature-based experiences. They estimate the projects could create more than 2,000 direct and indirect jobs.

Additionally, the government plans to construct 66 villa colonies with an estimated investment of ₹1,204 crore. This will make it one of the region's largest tourism-driven real estate initiatives.
Officials said they intend to promote sustainable tourism while preserving Ananthagiri Hills' natural landscape. The area, known for dense forests, hills, and a pleasant climate, has long attracted weekend visitors from Telangana.
The projects will include infrastructure upgrades such as improved roads, tourism amenities, and hospitality services. Authorities expect these developments to boost the local economy by increasing demand for hotels, restaurants, and other services.
The government will enforce environmental safeguards and forest protection measures to prevent ecological disruption.
With growing interest in nature destinations, officials believe these projects will establish Ananthagiri Hills as a premier eco-tourism and luxury retreat hub in Telangana.
