HYDERABAD: Telangana may see a slight rise in rainfall activity on August 29. Passing showers are likely in some parts of the state from afternoon to night.
Scattered light to moderate rain may occur in parts of west and northeast Telangana. The affected districts include Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Medak, Rangareddy, Kamareddy, Siddipet and Mahabubnagar.
Rain is also likely in Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Karimnagar, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Khammam.

Rain activity in these areas may continue from midnight into the morning of August 30. Other districts may see isolated showers or remain dry.
Hyderabad may see showers through the night
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad centre has forecast light rain in several parts of the city.
The IMD has also issued a thunderstorm and lightning warning for Telangana on August 29. Strong surface winds are also likely. No warning has been listed for August 30 onwards in the subdivision-wise bulletin.
