HYDERABAD: Traffic diversion will be in place near Ashok Nagar from Friday, March 13, due to dismantling and reconstruction of the Hussain Sagar Surplus Nala bridge at Arvind Nagar, Hyderabad.
Bridge reconstruction likely to cause traffic congestion
According to the Hyderabad Traffic Police, congestion is expected between pillar numbers 16 and 17 under the Nayani Narasimha Reddy Steel Bridge during the works. Commuters have been advised to plan their travel in advance and use alternative routes to avoid delays.
Diversions announced for vehicles towards Indira Park
Street No. 9, Himayathnagar → Indira Park X Road:
All vehicles except two-wheelers coming from Street No. 9, Himayathnagar towards Indira Park X Road will be diverted at Ashok Nagar X Road. Vehicles should proceed via Sub-Registrar Office, Ashok Nagar , Bakaram Bridge, LIC Colony, Bandamaisamma X Road, Darna Chowk Marg, Indira Park X Road.
RTC X Road → Indira Park X Road:
Vehicles except two-wheelers travelling from RTC X Road towards Indira Park X Road will be diverted at Ashok Nagar X Road and should take the route via Sub-Registrar Office, Ashok Nagar, Bakaram Bridge, LIC Colony, Bandamaisamma X Road, Darna Chowk Marg, Indira Park X Road.
Bakaram → Indira Park X Road:
Vehicles except two-wheelers coming from Bakaram towards Indira Park X Road will be diverted at Bakaram Bridge and must turn right towards LIC Colony, Bandamaisamma X Road, Darna Chowk Marg, Indira Park X Road.
