HYDERABAD: Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have confirmed their relationship and announced their wedding through a joint post on Instagram.
The couple said their wedding will be called "The Wedding of VIROSH", a name coined by fans by blending their names. They described the title as a tribute to supporters who stood by them over the years.
In a note shared on Instagram stories, the actors thanked fans for the love and encouragement. "You gave us a name with so much love," they wrote, adding that the wedding is dedicated to those who supported their journey.
Haldi, sangeet and wedding over three days
The wedding functions are scheduled over three days in Udaipur. The haldi ceremony will be held on February 24, followed by the sangeet on February 25. The wedding will take place on February 26.
The venue is expected to be a private hill resort on the outskirts of Udaipur, reportedly The Mementos by ITC Hotels, chosen for privacy.
Grand reception planned in Hyderabad
A reception will be hosted in Hyderabad on March 4, 2026, at Taj Krishna from 19.00 IST onwards.
Several actors from Telugu and Hindi film industries are expected to attend. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is also likely to be present.
The announcement has drawn wide attention on social media, with fans expressing excitement over the couple's wedding plans.
