COMMISSIONING CEREMONY OF BSc NURSING CADETS - BATCH XIICOLLEGE OF NURSING, COMMAND HOSPITAL, (EC)
The Commissioning Ceremony of 30 Nursing Cadets of Batch XII from the College of Nursing, Command Hospital (Eastern Command) was held on 23 April 2026 . Major General Sanjay Maurya, VSM, Commandant, Command Hospital (Eastern Command) was the Reviewing officer for the solemn ceremony.
Brig Sushma Thomas, VSM, Principal Matron, Command Hospital (EC) administered the oath to the newly commissioned officers, marking their formal induction into Military Nursing. Col Jeeva George, Principal, College of Nursing, played pivotal role in conduct of the ceremony upholding the values and ethos.
Lt Bhawna Sharma was awarded the "Rolling Trophy and Gold Medal" for securing First Position in the final course. Lt Ayushi Bajpai was adjudged as "The Best All Round Nursing Cadet" for her outstanding performance in academics and co-curricular activities and Lt Varsha Gholot was awarded as "The Best Clinical Nurse" for her excellence in clinical practice.
The ceremony marked a proud milestone for the newly commissioned officers as they embark on their noble journey to serve the nation with unwavering dedication, professional excellence, and deep compassion.
