Ministry of Textiles Launches Bharat Tex 2026 Mobile App

New Delhi, May 20:
Neelam Shami Rao on Tuesday launched the official mobile application for Bharat Tex 2026, introducing a unified digital platform aimed at enhancing networking, business engagement and visitor experience at India's largest global textile exhibition.

The app has been designed as a comprehensive digital companion for exhibitors, international delegates, buyers, sourcing consultants, speakers and visitors attending the mega textile event, scheduled to be held from July 14 to 17, 2026 at Bharat Mandapam.

According to the Ministry of Textiles, the Bharat Tex 2026 App reflects the event's "digital-first" vision and is expected to significantly improve business matchmaking, event navigation and real-time engagement among stakeholders across the global textile ecosystem.

The mobile platform will allow registered participants to:

  • discover exhibitors,
  • schedule B2B meetings,
  • access venue maps,
  • receive live updates,
  • manage event agendas,
  • capture business leads,
  • and attend knowledge sessions through a single interface.
  • One of the major highlights of the application is its AI-powered Smart Assistant, which will function as a 24×7 conversational support system for attendees. Users will be able to ask event-related questions in simple language and instantly receive information regarding schedules, venue navigation, exhibitor locations and other operational details.

The application also includes networking and meeting management tools enabling exhibitors, buyers and delegates to identify relevant business partners, send meeting requests, track schedules and manage confirmed appointments digitally.

For exhibitors and trade participants, the app introduces a QR-based lead capture and "Lead Wallet" feature, allowing users to scan digital badges and securely store structured business contact information for post-event follow-up.

To improve visitor convenience at the large exhibition venue, the app offers advanced indoor navigation and wayfinding support, including floor maps, booth search tools and stall-level directions within Bharat Mandapam.

Global buyers and sourcing professionals will also be able to use the exhibitor discovery feature to search companies based on:

  • product categories,
  • exhibitor types,
  • and company names,
  • making sourcing and business interactions more targeted and efficient.

The platform additionally provides access to the full conference and knowledge session agenda, allowing participants to personalise schedules and receive alerts for important discussions, policy dialogues and industry sessions during the event.

The Bharat Tex 2026 App can be accessed through the official link provided by the organisers.

Bharat Tex Trade Federation, a consortium of 11 textile Export Promotion Councils and industry bodies, is organising the event with support from the Government of India.

Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "5F Vision" - Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign - Bharat Tex 2026 aims to position India as a sustainable, innovation-driven and globally competitive textile sourcing and investment destination.

Organisers expect the event to attract more than 7,000 international buyers and over 1.3 lakh trade visitors from across the global textile industry.

The exhibition will showcase India's complete textile value chain including:

  • fibres,
  • yarns,
  • fabrics,
  • apparel,
  • home textiles,
  • technical textiles,
  • handlooms,
  • handicrafts,
  • sustainable textile solutions,
  • and intelligent manufacturing technologies.
