The Madhubala biopic has been in the works for a while now, and though we don't know who is playing the leading lady, multiple names have been doing the rounds.
After Sara Arjun, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Sai Pallavi and Aneet Padda, it looks like another name has joined the race for consideration, and it is none other than Sharvari.
Sharvari being considered for Madhubala's biopic?
A report in News18 Showsha revealed that Sharvari's name has been doing the rounds as the potential leading lady for Madhubala. The report said. "Sharvari is now said to be among the top choices being considered for the role." However, there's no official update as to the casting, and neither do we know as to what extent to which the talks for Sharvari are on for this role.

For the unversed, Madhubala's biopic will be directed by Darlings director Jasmeet K. Reen and is going to be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Sara Arjun's name was the last name that was doing the rounds for the role.
As for Sharvari, the actress has an interesting lineup of films ahead and is most definitely going to have a busy year. She is gearing up for Imtiaz Ali's Main Vaapas Aaunga, which is slated for a release in theatres on June 12, 2026. Main Vaapas Aaunga is produced by Sameer Nair and Deepak Segal for Applause Entertainment, along with Mohit Choudhary and Shibasish Sarkar for Window Seat Films.
In addition, she is also gearing up for Alpha with Alia Bhatt, which will be YRF's first female spy film. The movie was originally slated for a release in December 2025; however, the movie was then postponed to April 17, 2026, citing work needed on the film's VFX. However, the movie was recently postponed once again, and the new release date for Alpha's theatrical release is now July 10.
The actress also has Munjya 2, along with Yeh Prem Moh Liya, which also stars Ayushmann Khurrana. Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari's film went on floors in Mumbai on November 1. Several pictures of the actors shooting at a railway station went viral on social media. Apart from Ayushmann and Sharvari, the film also features Anupam Kher, Seema Pahwa, and Supriya Pathak in key roles.
