Television personality Ajaz Khan recently reacted to Samay Raina's remarks on Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. Samay cracked a joke about the time he went on Kaun Banega Crorepati in 2025, which seemed to anger Khan.

YouTuber and comedian Samay Raina is back with his comeback stand-up special, Still Alive. During the show, he recounted his India Got Latent controversy in detail. He also spoke about the time he came on Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati in 2025 and said that he refrained from making certain jokes could have offended Amitabh Bachchan and his fans.

Ajaz Khan responded harshly to Samay's jokes and threatened him to tread lightly. He said that Amitabh Bachchan is a superstar who has amassed a huge fan base through decades of hard work.

Ajaz said, "Aab iss badtameez aadmi ko main kya bolu? Yeh apne maa baap se bhi aise hi baat karta hoga shayad. Hindustan ke itne bade mahanayak Amitabh Bachchan sahab, jisne Hindustan ko sadiyoon se entertain kiya, aaj unko, unke wife ko, unke bacche ko koi bhi aake kuch bole jaa raha hai. (What do I say to this uncouth man? He must be speaking this way to his parents too. Amitabh Bachchan sahab is one of the biggest stars in Bollywood who has entertained this country since decades. Today, anyone is saying what they feel to him, his wife and kids.)"

He added, "Samay Raina, tera samay kharab chalu ho gaya aaj se. Mujhe dikhna bhi mat tu. Main toh Bachchan sahab ka bahut bada fan hu. Bahut saare fan hai Bachchan sahab ke jo tujhe dhoond rahe hai abhi. Beta tu thoda izzat se chal, Mujhe mat dikhna kahin par tu, jidhar dikha udhar tera kaan check karunga main. Yaad rakhna. (Samay Raina, your period of misfortune has begun. Don't come in front of me. I am a fan of Bachchan sahab and there are many fans like me who will hunt you down. Be respectful. During the 1-hour 21-minute special, Samay spoke about the effects of the controversy on his financial and mental health. He revealed that he was on the brink of financial ruin. He also spoke about his appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati, where he participated as a guest contestant along with YouTuber and his friend Tanmay Bhat.

During his recent Still Alive show, Samay Raina revealed that he had several "ulta seedha" thoughts when he was sitting in front of Amitabh Bachchan but refrained from making them.

Sharing one joke that he did not say on the show, Samay said, "Sir, aapne itna polio ka ad kiya, phir bhi apne bete ko paon pe kyu nahi khada kar paye. (Sir, if you have so many ads for polio. Why were you not able to make your son stand on his own feet?)"

Samay also shared that he had lied to the actor that his grandmother was a big fan of him. According to Free Press Journal, he said, "Dadi mar gayi hai meri. 7 saal ho gaye hain mere dadi ko mar ke. Waha maine kaha - Sir dadi meri aapki bhot badi fan hai. (My grandmother died seven years ago. And I told Amitabh sir that she is your big fan)."

He then revealed that he had only said it to "play the room." He added, "You are not honest on the Indian internet. You cannot be yourself. You play the game; you play the room."

Despite the backlash, Samay confirmed that India's Got Latent will return. He said, "Show toh main launga bhai kyunki maza aata tha woh show karne mein. Ab main jab tak hoon iss duniya mein bas maze karne hain. (I will definitely bring the show back, brother, because I enjoyed doing that show. As long as I'm alive in this world, I just want to have fun)."
