Allu Arjun's Raaka's first look was unveiled a few days back, and fans were super excited to see the star in a completely new avatar.
The project is touted to be large-scale and includes some big names from the industry, including Deepika Padukone and Rashmika Mandanna. As per the latest reports, Deepika and Rashmika are being paid 7-8 times less than Allu Arjun.

As per a report by India Today, Arjun's fee is ₹175 crore, while Deepika Padukone is said to be receiving ₹25 crore. According to the same report, Rashmika Mandanna is set to earn approximately ₹5-7 crore for her role in the film.
A producer, in a chat with Deccan Chronicle, pointed out that such remunerations are largely driven by pan-India appeal. "With actors bringing nationwide recognition and box office pull, their fees tend to be significantly higher than those in conventional Telugu films," he says.
Rashmika is charging slightly on the higher end, as compared to Tamannaah Bhatia, Janhvi Kapoor, Sreeleela, Mrunal Thakur, and Shruti Haasan. Their remuneration typically falls in the ₹3-5 crore range for Telugu films.
Rashmika, however, has a small edge as she has a more pan-India appeal.

The film is reportedly made on a budget exceeding ₹800 crore. The first-look poster, unveiled on Allu Arjun's 44th birthday, presented him in a fierce, beast-like avatar, hinting at a larger-than-life narrative. The Telugu star is reportedly set to take on a triple role in Raaka, playing a cop, a half-human half-monster, and the father of the two brothers.

There are also reports that Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor will also play significant roles in the film; however, we have no official confirmation yet. Raaka marks Allu's first film with Atlee, and fans are mighty excited to witness this collaboration.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun's last release, Pushpa 2: The Rule, which released on December 5, 2024, was an absolute blockbuster. This means high expectations are riding on Raaka.
