Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana teaser dropped online on Tuesday, April 3 and within minutes left the internet divided. While some were not happy with the VFX, many were not convinced with Ranbir Kapoor as Ram.

Netizens took to social media and commented on how despite de-ageing, Kapoor looks old and not suitable for the part. Many internet users went ahead and used AI to replace Ranbir with other actors including Ranveer Singh and Salman Khan,

Soon after the trailer dropped, netizens on social media replaced Ranbir Kapoor with many actors, cricketers, and even politicians. While some replaced Ranbir with Virat Kohli, some replaced him with Salman Khan. Netizens also replaced Ranbir with Dhurandhar actor Ranveer, and many thought that it was perfect.

Others including PM Narendra Modi and politician Rahul Gandhi also made the cut to replace Ranbir as Lord Ram in Ramayana.

Many netizens commented, "Not gonna lie - He fits the face cut and knowing his acting range - would have been a better fit ," Ranveer is known to take months for preparation for each movie. He is a very serious actor.

Another netizen pointed out how Ranbir is not suited to play the role, "People are crying about VFX lol, the biggest drawback of the whole teaser was Ranbir as RAM. Where is the calmness, pious soft vibe. He looked so misfit. The whole bollywood should take a note from ITV when they cast Mohit Raina as Shiv and Saurabh as Krishna or even Sumedh as Krishna."

The makers shared the teaser on the pious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.
