From Arshad Pappu to Aalam, several characters from Dhurandhar have left a lasting impression on fans. Ashwin Dhar, who plays Arshad Pappu, recently reacted to the overwhelming response to his role, sharing that he's enjoying the comparisons with Shah Rukh Khan.

Ashwin Dhar reacts to comparison with Shah Rukh Khan

Many keen-eyed audiences who watched Dhurandhar 2 found out that Ashwin's look as Arshad Pappu, Lyari gangster, very closely resembles Shah Rukh Khan's look from Met Gala 2025. Now, in a recent interview with Filmygyan, Ashwin Dhar reacted to the comparisons.

Speaking to the news portal, Ashwin said, "For me it is something like such an overwhelming experience. When you are compared with Shah Rukh Khan, whether it is looks or costume, but you are shown alongside Shah Rukh Khan, that itself means a lot."

He further heaped praises on SRK and wrote, "Shah Rukh Khan is more than an actor. Personally he is a very good human being. To become such a big actor is not an ordinary thing. When you are connected with such a superstar from our industry in a film, it is a big compliment."

Talking about the multiple memes made on him and SRK, Ashwin commented, "There have been so many memes. Different kinds of memes were made. I saw one meme saying Shah Rukh Khan should be cast as Arshad Pappu. That means it is a big compliment and I am really enjoying this. I am having a lot of fun with it."

When asked if SRK could play Arshad Pappu, Ashwin replied, "Of course. One hundred percent. Why not. He is a seasoned actor. He would definitely have done something different and something special with the role."
