Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2 is all everyone is talking about. Be it the dialogues, the ending, or the characters, Aditya Dhar seems to have ticked all the right boxes to make a commercial entertainer.
Amongst the many characters that have impressed fans and have become a point of discussion is Major Iqbal's father. Played by actor Suvinder Pal Vicky, the actor did a phenomenal job. Soon after Dhurandhar 2 hit theatres, keen fans researched and found out that Arjun Rampal, born in November 1972, is 53 years old, while Suvinder Pal Vicky was born on March 4, 1973, and is also 53 years old. The duo shares an age difference of four months.
Many users commented on the Reddit post. One wrote, "Arjun is born 26/11 peak detailing by Aditya dhar," while another commented, "Honestly he did look a bit too young for his role. He talks about 1971 war and all. Those people will be looking way older at that age."
Another netizen wrote, "To break the myth surrounding Iqbal. Dhar didn't want the character to be idolized. I actually loved it. Deep down they're just regular folks. If anything it made him more menacing. No one's more dangerous than guy submitted to an actual ideology.."

Dhurandhar 2 is the sequel to Dhurandhar (2025) as it picks up the story of Hamza aka Jaskirat, a secret Indian agent who has been sent to Pakistan for Operation Dhurandhar. Hamza is tasked with paralysing the internal criminal networks in Lyari that are responsible for major terrorist attacks in India.
Apart from Ranveer, the Dhurandhar 2 also stars R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and others in key roles.
Despite facing the IPL 2026, the largest season in history with 84 matches, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has remained remarkably strong at the box office.
