Naagin continues to be one of the longest fantasy dramas on Indian television, and it is also popular, despite the entire setting of the show.
With Naagin 7's latest episode, viewers and fans of the show are rather shocked, and not for the right reasons, because there was a blunder that caught everyone's attention, and now, producer Ekta Kapoor has actually gone on to react to it.
Fans were soon to react, but so was Ekta. Here's all about it.

It so happened that the audiences spotted not just blue screens, but also visible wires and actors lying motionless on the floor, in what looks like footage that hasn't been edited, but made it to the screens. This has obviously gotten people to question the post-production process, among other things.
The blunder has now been going viral on social media, and many fans and viewers have shared screenshots as well as raw footage on Reddit, which gained traction soon, and now, there's only added criticism for the show's editing.

Interestingly, Ekta Kapoor did react to the goof-up, but she had her own twist to it. She shared a meme video on her Instagram stories, which sees the lead character transforming into a dragon. The caption of the original video read, "Ekta Ma'am on her way to the office from Thailand after yesterday's Naagin blue screen mistake by the editors." Reposting it, Ekta said, "Eggjacctlyyy (Exactly)," which was, of course, her acknowledging the error, but without making it a big deal.
As many would know, this isn't the first time that the show has been at the receiving end of such backlash, as makers have been criticised earlier too, for relying on AI-generated sequences. Back then, Ekta had responded to the criticism by sharing a funny video with the show's writers, blaming them for the over-the-top demands. "These are the people responsible! Every scene needs aeroplanes and more… Actually, I am the one to blame-I want dragons and planes with no budget," she had said.
Nonetheless, despite the controversies or the attention it grabs on social media, the show first aired back in 2015 and is currently in its 7th season, and chances are, there are at least a couple of more seasons to go. Naagin 7, meanwhile, features Priyanka Chahar Choudhary as the lead, alongside Kanika Mann as the antagonist-a shape-shifting dragon.
