Timothee Chalamet may have lost out on his Oscar, but he has the big finale of his most famous franchise coming out this year. The first trailer for Dune: Part 3is finally out and it is the most we have gotten of the film after a long wait.

Frank Herbert never wanted Paul Atredis to be seen as a hero, and Denis Villeneuve is making sure fans don't mistake him for one. He may be the Lisan al Gaib for some, but that may end soon.

The trailer for Dune: Part 3 is finally out alongside the first character posters. From Timothee Chalamet to Zendaya, Robert Pattinson and Javier Bardem, everyone looks stunning in the posters and the trailer.

The dialogue writing, cinematography and performances all look top-notch. However, for the fans, it raises one huge concern. The film was supposed to go up against Avengers: Doomsday, dubbing their joint release date to be called Dunesday. Both films are expected to be released on December 18, but for the fans, that may be a dangerous bet.

With how good the Denis Villeneuve film looks, people are convinced that the upcoming Avengers film is going to be overshadowed by a landslide. Such has always been the case with Villeneuve's films. Not only are they visually stunning, but his narrative style is also as immersive as it gets.

Even in Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans are coming back, it doesn't save the film from facing a very difficult competition. Since we had nothing to go by earlier, with no visuals nor information about Dune: Part 3, it looked like Avengers: Doomsday had the upper hand. Now, it looks like the tables have been turned.

As long as the original Anakin Skywalker is walking his path, the fans are seated.
