"Hindustan mein sirf do logon ke poses famous hai, Shah Rukh Khan and Orry...," and I can't even disagree. A few years back, Orhan Awatramani, better known as Orry, took over our social media feeds, and the internet has not been the same ever since.
Be it his famous pose with celebrities or his quirky phone covers, Orry is a sensation the internet can never have enough of.
Today, Orry turns 31 and as he cuts multiple birthday cakes and shares the most fun videos on IG, here is tracing the internet sensation's journey from being Bollywood celebs' favourite plus one to getting his earrings stolen by Rihanna.
The rise of internet sensation Orry
Orry was born into a Mumbai-based business family with interests spanning real estate, hospitality and the liquor industry. As per a report by Zoom, his parents are Suraj Kundanlal Awatramani and Shahnaz Awatramani. The social media sensation has a bachelor's degree in fine arts and communication design from New York's Parsons School of Design.
The 31-year-old has long been a part of Bollywood's inner circle and is frequently spotted with celebrity kids like Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, and Nysa Devgan. He is also very close to the Ambani family.

Surprisingly, one of the biggest reasons behind his popularity is his manager and ex-actress Kim Sharma, who starred in the blockbuster film Mohabbatein (2000) alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.

In a podcast with Kunnika Sadanand, Kim Sharma discussed Orry's work and the strategy that made him famous. In the podcast, Sharma explained, "The mystery surrounding Orry is a significant part of our strategy. We deliberately do not answer questions. I think he is one of the most successful social experiments in recent times. He is very intelligent and targeted."

How much does Orry earn?
Orry, who describes himself as 'liver' (no, not the organ), has amassed quite a fortune for himself. In a recent chat on KK Create, Orry revealed his per reel charge, and it will make you rethink everything.
Speaking about his income, Orry said "Last month I made Rs 76 lakh on just one deal, like one reel."
As per the report, Orry's main source of income is brand collaborations and paid appearances. Clients can hire him to attend private events for between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 25 lakh. These can include lunches, dinner, weddings and other social gatherings.

As per Orry, you can buy his time and he will say whatever the occasion demands, "For Rs 15 to Rs 25 lakhs, you can buy me for lunch, you can buy me for dinner, I'll come to your wedding, I'll come to your birthday, and I'll give a speech as if we're childhood friends, I'll hang out with you and have shots with your parents, and touch everyone you want. It's an experience you can buy."
If you do the math and take into account his commercials of Rs. 76 lakh for a single Instagram Reel, Orry could earn over Rs 3 crore a month with just one brand collaboration each week, which can translate to Rs 40 crore per month. So, while you are reading this, Orry has already shot one reel and earned lakhs!

Orry is perhaps the biggest testament to the fact that the creator economy is here to stay. By embracing his individuality, staying unapologetically authentic and consistently putting himself out there, he has turned his online persona into a thriving brand. You can love him, you can hate him, but you definitely cannot ignore him.
Happy birthday, Orry!
