Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past, the sequel to Vikram Bhatt's 2011 supernatural horror thriller Haunted 3D, finally has a release date . Starring Mimoh Chakraborty in the lead again, the film is slated to be released in June this year.
The film's motion poster was also released recently, adding to the excitement surrounding the upcoming movie.

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is set to extend his 15-year-old supernatural horror flick Haunted 3D with a grittier sequel. The makers of Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Pastunveiled the film's eerie motion poster, announcing the movie's release date.
Produced by Anand Pandit, who produced the first part as well, is once again joining forces with Bhatt for the sequel. The makers have officially announced its theatrical release date as June 12, 2026.
The announcement was made by Pandit on his official Instagram page, where he shared the motion poster along with the caption, "Fear you will never be ready for! Fear has a new date Friday, the 12th June 2026." The exciting update has sparked curiosity among fans of Indian horror genre.
The motion poster set the tone for the upcoming sequel without giving away too much. It begins with multiple haunting visuals of crystal ball featuring the lead cast, demons, past stories, photo frames and many other elements that would leave the viewers hooked.
Initially scheduled to be released in November 2025, Haunted 3D sequel was postponed till February 2026 after its teaser came out and the film got criticised for poor VFX. It was further delayed till June.
In a statement, producer Anand Pandit spoke about his long-standing association with Vikram Bhatt. He said, "Our association with Vikram Bhatt goes back to 1920, and our relationship with him is beyond just work. Haunted has turned out really well, and I was sure that we would release the film only after Vikram was free from custody. Irrespective of how long it takes. Now that he is here, giving the final touches to the film, we are ready to release the film on June 12 this year."
Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt also spoke about the upcoming film. He added, "Both Haunted 3D and I have had a bumpy ride till now. Through the tough days of losing my mother and being incarcerated on a whim, Anand Pandit, the producer and a dear friend, stood by me. There was a time when I even asked him to release the film without me, but he refused. I want to thank Anandji for being all heart in an industry where people often desert you in difficult times. Thanks to his brave, courageous, and commendable stance, we are now set to release Haunted 3D on June 12. Get ready to be scared!"
Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past features an ensemble cast composed of Mimoh Chakraborty, Chetna Pande, Shruti Prakash, Gaurav Bajpai, Praneet Bhatt, and Hemant Pandey.
