If you have lived through 90s, you must be familiar with Rahul Roy's Aashiquicraze. The actor shot to fame after Mahesh Bhatt's musical romantic drama became a blockbuster. Also starring Anu Aggarwal, the movie was remade in 2013 with Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor.

So, years later, when fans saw the Aashiqui star in a random Instagram Reel with an unknown content creator, they were baffled. While many made fun of stooping that low, many expressed concern.

Rahul took to Instagram to react to the trolls as well as address the Reels he made. Hinting at financial struggles, he said he those Reels as he had some dues to pay. He also clapped back at trolls for making fun of him. He added that instead of expressing concern and making jokes on him, they should help him find work.

He wrote, "I do my work with honesty and modesty. I have some legal matters to pay for, and these are not from today-they are from before the brain stroke happened. If you mock my simplicity or make fun of my struggles, it says less about me and more about you. If you are truly so concerned, then help me find some genuine and decent work so I can pay for these cases. At least I am earning through hard work, not by mocking others. And after the brain stroke, it is important for me to stay active. I want to work for as long as I am alive. It keeps my mind active and gives me the sense of purpose and responsibility that I am still working today. Yes, it may hurt a little sometimes, but you cannot break me."

Many celebs commented on Rahul's post, extending support and encouragement to keep going despite online bullying.

Rahul also spoke to Hindustan Times about the same. Refusing to believe that the Reel went viral, he admitted that he wasn't ready to do it originally. He said, "Viral toh nahi hua… but compulsion ho gaya tha. Now I am not doing to do that again. Thank you to all."
