Ranbir Kapoor is currently on a promotional tour for RamayanaPart 1. The actor, along with Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra, headed to Los Angeles and New York to promote their Diwali release.

Many videos from the Ramayanaevents are being shared online, however, one post featuring Ranbir Kapoor is going viral. In the post, a fan hilariously congratulates him for his great work in Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh.

Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2 is making noise at the box office and has become the only Bollywood film to cross the ₹1,400 crore mark worldwide. Amidst the massive success, an X (formerly Twitter) user named Vishal Mishra posted a selfie with Ranbir, and he revealed that he congratulated the actor for Dhurandhar 2.

Posting it, he wrote, "I told him I loved his work in Dhurandhar and he started saying "No that is a different Ranveer.." before @niteshtiwari22 cut him off and told him I was pulling his leg with the Dream11 ad!" He also posted a link to the advert, adding, "the ad - one in a series of brilliant ads Nitesh made for @harshjain85 and @Dream11."

Ramayana to release in Diwali 2026

Diwali 2026 will be lit, not just with firecrackers but with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram on the big screens. The makers on marked Ram Navami announced that they will release the first look of Ranbir Kapoor as Rama on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.

Making the special announcement on the auspicious day of Ram Navami, Namit wrote, "Shubh Rama Navami. This is a story that belongs to all of us, and every step we take has been guided by a deep sense of responsibility, devotion, and care to bring our very own Ramayana to life in its truest spirit and scale with utmost sincerity."

The producer added, "We look forward to sharing the next glimpse, 'Rama', on 2nd April, on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, as we begin to showcase all these years of our effort through a grand launch with fans to celebrate this moment across the world. The first teaser has already been unveiled in Los Angeles and is getting rave reviews from fans.
