Ibrahim Ali Khan's professional journey

While Ibrahim debuted with Naadaniyan, his first on-screen appearance was in the 2008 film Tashan. He later worked behind the scenes as an assistant director on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

His debut film Naadaniyan failed to leave a mark with the audience and many criticised Ibrahim's acting skills. After his film failed to work, Ibrahim revealed in an interview that he feels he rushed into the film industry.

 Dharmatic Entertainment

In an interview with Esquire India, Ibrahim admitted Nadaaniyan was a 'really bad film', "Not too long ago, they were all waiting for my launch, and after 'Nadaaniyan', the hype has dropped real bad. They've trolled me nonstop. 'He won't be able to do it only'. It's a massive low… and I constantly feel bad about it."

He further added, "Of course, I was working very hard, like I'm still working hard on my speech issue. But in a way, I feel I must have rushed into that movie. I was 21 when I began shooting for it, others around me are doing it at 26, 27, 28, and I now think I could have been more mindful of the scale of what was going to happen," he said.

Ibrahim will be next seen in the sports drama Diler alongside Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
