In Farah Khan's latest YouTube vlog, where she visited Shreyas Talpade's home along with Dilip, the actor revealed that he was denied a home loan while working on Om Shanti Om. However, one letter from SRK changed the entire game.
He shared, "Main bank gaya tha, but loan eligibility nahi tha mera. (I went to the bank, but was not eligible for a loan.) The banker asked me which film I was working on. I said Om Shanti Om. She then asked who was starring in it, and I replied, 'Shah Rukh Khan.' She asked who the director was, and I said, 'Farah Khan.' Then she asked if I could get a letter from them," Shreyas recalled.
The actor revealed that he immediately reached out to Farah Khan, who reached out to SRK for a letter.

"I called Farah, and within two days she got Shah Rukh Khan to write a letter to the bank. That very evening, my loan was sanctioned, and we could finally buy our first house," Shreyas said, expressing gratitude for the support he received.
Farah admitted she had completely forgotten about the incident, "Humne tujhe kya hi paise diye honge Om Shanti Om ke."

On the work front
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently awaiting the release ofKing. The film marks Shah Rukh Khan's first collaboration with Suhana Khan on screen. The ensemble cast also includes Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma and Raghav Juyal. The film will release on December 24.
