The Dhurandhar duology had singlehandedly impacted a huge chunk of the Bollywood industry. From Ranveer Singh to Aditya Dhar, everyone who was a part of the movies made headlines.
Another element that stood out was Shashwat Sachdev's music. The album of the first movie had fans grooving to the beats.
In a similar fashion, the album of the second movie had them dancing, but also forcing them to reflect in their lives and be in touch with their emotions. The songs were going viral and for that, the composer has generated a massive revenue for the industry.

As per a DNA report, the two movies and their soundtracks have collectively earned a total of ₹325 crore across streaming platforms. From hits like Mann Atkeya to the Dhurandhar Title Track, everyone had at least one song they could jam to within the two albums.
Shashwat Sachdev's manager, Hrishikesh Seetharam, talked about his entire process, "Our core objective with the Dhurandhar franchise was to fundamentally disrupt the 'single-track' economy and revive the 'front-to-back' listening culture that once defined the golden era of Indian cinema. By treating these soundtracks as a singular, cohesive body of work rather than a collection of viral hooks, Shashwat has effectively redefined the ROI of film music. He has proven that a well-architected album can serve as a primary revenue driver rather than functioning merely as a promotional tool."
He continued, "This success was underpinned by a sophisticated 'six-single drip' rollout leading into a staggered album drop, successfully bridging the gap between high-volume YouTube consumption and high-ARPU premium platforms like Apple Music and Spotify. What sets Sachdev apart is his role as a 'composer-auteur' who treats sound as a narrative tool. For Dhurandhar, he moved beyond generic themes to implement 'Sonic Character Design,' assigning each lead actor a distinct musical DNA - from the avant-garde use of custom Berlin modular synth sessions for Arjun Rampal's character to the historical reimagining of the 70-year-old qawwali Ishq Jalakar. Whether it was the gutsy integration of Punjabi devotional elements into a thriller score or curating an elite global ensemble featuring Arijit Singh, Diljit Dosanjh and Hanumankind, Shashwat has set a new global benchmark for what Indian film music can achieve."
With the critical and commercial success of Dhurandhar, the composer finds himself amongst the top 5 artists on Spotify India. Before this, he had worked with the legendary Hans Zimmer, worked on the soundtrack of Uri: The Surgical Strike, and he made his debut with the music for Phillauri. He has also worked on the soundtack of The Ba***ds of Bollywood, Veere di Wedding and more.
