CM Biren appoints 10 ministers to look into coronavirus issue in Manipur districts
Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh on Friday appointed 10 of his cabinet ministers to look after the different districts of the state to prevent coronavirus spread, a release stated.
The concerned ministers will be in charge of combating the pandemic and ensure supply of essential commodities to the public.
The CM order has notified deputy chief minister Y Joykumar in charge for Imphal West, Th Biswajit Singh for Imphal East, L Jayantakumar for Bishnupur district, Karam Shyam for Jiribam, Letpao Haokip for Chandel and Tengnoupal, N Kayisii for Tamenglong and Noney, Loshii Dikho for Ukhrul and Kamjong, V Hankhanlian for Churachandpur and Pherzawl, Nemcha Kipgen for Kangpokpi and Senapati and Th Radheshyam for Thoubal and Kakching.
The state has so far reported a Coronavirus confirmed case. The patient is being kept at an isolation facility at JNIMS, Imphal.
