Notably, four funding deals announced during the week did not disclose the amount raised.

Key Startup Funding Highlights Of The Week

- On the back of the week's biggest round, Fairdeal.Market's $15 Mn Series A funding, ecommerce emerged as the most funded segment this week. Four startups raised more than $21.4 Mn during the week.
- Advanced Hardware & Technology saw the second highest number of deals materialised this week. Three startups in the sector raised more than $2.4 Mn during the week.

- Seed stage funding shrank to $1.6 Mn across three deals this week, marking a 78% decline from the $7.6 Mn raised by startups at this stage last week.
Startup Fund Developments This Week
- Fundamentum cofounder Ashish Kumar has launched a new private investment platform, Fundamentum Frontier Advisors (F2A), with a VC fund of ₹2,000 Cr to invest in startups building in the deeptech and AI sector. The firm will also manage ₹1,000 Cr in co-investments through a vehicle set up outside of India.
- Physis Capital announced the final close of its maiden fund at ₹400 Cr. The investor will back Pre-Series A to Series B stage startups across sectors with an average ticket size in the range of $1-3 Mn.
- Himalaya Wealth Managers announced the launch of a new SEBI-registered Category I AIF, Himalaya SME Scheme-I, with a corpus of ₹500 Cr to back SMEs operating in segments like aerospace and defense, industrial automation, healthcare and life sciences, agritech and food processing, electronics and semiconductors, renewable energy and EVs.
