Aman Gupta invests in Gaurav Taneja's Rosier Foods; says, 'Build a trusted nutrition brand'

Premium staples brand Rosier Foods has secured an investment from Aman Gupta through SailThru Ventures, to boost its expansion plans in India's fast-growing health and wellness food market.

Founded by content creator Gaurav Taneja, along with Ankur Tyagi and Sumit Mishra, the startup focuses on traditional Indian food products made using Vedic methods. Its flagship product, A2 Gir cow ghee, is prepared using the traditional bilona process, where ghee is slowly heated in earthen pots to maintain its nutritional value and authenticity.

Apart from ghee, Rosier Foods also sells products such as raw honey, Amlaprash (chyawanprash), and other organic pantry items.

'Consumers today are increasingly conscious about what they consume, and brands like Rosier Foods are addressing this shift with authenticity and purpose. Their focus on Vedic processes, quality sourcing, and farmer empowerment makes this a compelling opportunity. Through SailThru Ventures, we are excited to partner with Rosier Foods as they scale and build a trusted nutrition brand,' said Aman Gupta, boAt co-founder and Shark Tank India judge.

Rosier Foods claims to have reported steady growth, with an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of around Rs 100 crore. The startup is aiming to reach Rs 150 crore ARR by FY27. It is currently operating at a net profit margin of 5-6%.

The brand follows a farm-to-table approach and works closely with farmers to ensure quality sourcing and supply chain control, while also improving cost efficiency.

It will use the funds to strengthen sourcing and supply chain operations, expand the farmer network, and invest in brand building and customer acquisition.

Rosier also plans to scale its farm-to-table ecosystem and invest in product innovation across high-growth wellness categories. Additionally, it is looking to expand its direct-to-consumer presence and distribution network across India.

Gaurav Taneja, Sumit Mishra and Ankur Tyagi, Co-founders, Rosier Foods, said: 'Our vision with Rosier Foods is to bring back the purity and nutritional richness of traditional Indian foods while building a brand rooted in quality, transparency, and farmer welfare. This partnership with Aman Gupta and SailThru Ventures strengthens our mission to scale responsibly, expand our reach, and create a meaningful impact while staying true to our roots.'

India's health and wellness food segment is witnessing rapid growth, driven by increasing consumer awareness about clean-label products, traceability, and traditional nutrition. Industry estimates suggest that the organic and natural foods market in India could grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 25-30% in the coming years.

Premium categories like A2 dairy, raw honey, and Ayurvedic products are expected to grow even faster, as more consumers shift away from processed foods and look for natural and functional alternatives.
