Between May 11 and May 16, 2026, as many as 16 Indian startups from diverse sectors raised over $240 million in funding from investors.
These sectors include FMCG, Fintech, Traveltech, Robotics, NBFC, Semiconductor, Ride-hailing, AI, and Manufacturing.
Last week, Indian startups raised over $180 million, with Spacetech startup Skyroot Aerospace raising $60 million alone.
High-value deals
A diverse range of sectors attracted investments during the week, with the Ride-hailing space leading the pack. Leading this space was Rapido, which raised $240 million. Semiconductor startup HrdWyr raised $13 million.
The list was followed by Packaged food and beverages startup Wingreens Farms, Consumer appliance startup Mekr, and Lending firm Sindhuja Microcredit, which collectively raised $24.6 million.
Wingreens Farms raised $12.6 million, Mekr raised $7 million, and Sindhuja Microcredit raised $5 million.
Emerging startups
Beverages startup Kathy's Beverages raised $630,000 in a pre-Series A round, Robotics startup Flo Mobility raised $2.5 million in a pre-Series A round, Traveltech startup NORI raised $350,000 in a pre-Seed round, AI startup SCIKIQ raised $1.5 million in a pre-Series A round, Doorstep smartphone repair services startup Instafix raised $790,000 in a pre-Seed round, Toy subscription startup The EleFant raised $1 million in a pre-Seed round, NBFC firm Nivasa Finance raised $3 million in a Seed round, and Toys startup Legend of Toys raised $2.2 million in a pre-Series A round.
Meanwhile, AI video editing platform CRAON, Beverages startup Moi Soi, and Sustainable detergent startup Lavella kept the funding figures under wraps.
Mergers & Acquisitions
The period also witnessed strategic mergers and acquisitions. InCred Capital acquired fund management firm S Cube Capital, Dhan parent Raise acquired GreenLife, Wingreens acquired pesticide-free food brand Safe Harvest, and Vaidam Health acquired CancerRounds.
