Nava raises $22 million to build Asia's full-stack AI cloud, sets Singapore as regional HQ

Cloud infrastructure startup Nava, formerly known as Kluisz, has raised $22 million in a Series A funding round led by Greenoaks, with participation from RTP Global and Unicorn India Ventures.

The startup also announced its rebranding to Nava and said it would establish Singapore as its regional headquarters as part of its next phase of growth.

Nava had previously raised $9.6 million in a seed funding round led by RTP Global, with backing from Unicorn India Ventures, Blume Founders Fund and Climber Capital.

The latest funding will be used to build out its full-stack AI compute platform, expand operations across the Asia-Pacific region, and hire senior leadership and specialised talent in areas including AI data centre design, GPU engineering, and operations, the release notes.

Founded in 2025, Nava was set up by Abhinav Sinha, Vamshidhar Reddy and Abhijeet Singh. The founders previously held roles at firms including OYO, Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey & Company, AMD, Reliance Jio and AT&T.

The startup is building what it describes as a full-stack 'neo-cloud' platform designed specifically for AI workloads. It combines AI-optimised data centres, high-performance GPU compute, orchestration and inferencing layers, and developer-focused tools to support enterprise adoption of AI. The company said demand for such infrastructure is rising quickly.

According to KPMG, data centre capacity in Southeast Asia will need to triple by 2030 to meet growing demand for AI computing, with India facing a similar shortfall.

Abhinav Sinha, Co-founder and CEO, Nava, said: 'This fundraise marks an important step in our journey. What started as an AI-native cloud platform has now evolved into something much larger, where we are building the foundational cloud platform layer for AI in Asia. We're grateful to our investors for their continued support and conviction as we build in a category that is growing and rapidly evolving.'

Madhur Makkar, Principal at RTP Global, said: 'As one of the earliest backers of the company, we have seen Abhinav, Vamshi, and Abhijeet execute with strong clarity and speed in a highly complex space. In under a year, this team has demonstrated exceptional execution and is strongly positioned to address the growing need for purpose-built AI infrastructure across Asia.'

Bhaskar Majumdar, Managing Partner, Unicorn India Ventures, added, 'We are witnessing a structural shift with AI driving demand for compute infra and GPUs, a critical part of the overall value chain. As a deep tech investor, we back companies across the AI value chain, and Nava fits well within this strategy. The team has demonstrated strong early growth, and we see clear demand for their cloud infrastructure offerings.'
