Nayasa partners with Unicommerce to scale e-commerce operations in booming homeware segment

Nayasa has entered into a partnership with Unicommerce eSolutions to strengthen its online retail capabilities, as demand for kitchen and household products continues to rise across India.

The collaboration comes amid sustained growth in e-commerce sales within the home and furniture segment, driven by consumers increasingly purchasing everyday essentials such as storage solutions and kitchenware through digital platforms.

Industry data from Unicommerce indicates that during this year's Valentine's sale period, the category saw a 46% year-on-year increase in order volumes and a 29% rise in gross merchandise value, reflecting continued momentum beyond seasonal demand.

To respond to this shift, Nayasa has integrated Unicommerce's order and logistics management system into its operations. The platform is designed to automate order processing, improve inventory synchronisation across multiple sales channels, and provide real-time stock visibility. The company said this would help reduce fulfilment errors and improve delivery timelines through more efficient courier allocation.

The partnership is also expected to enhance returns handling and post-purchase communication, areas that have become increasingly important as customer expectations evolve.

Manasi Sachdev, director at Nayasa, said digital commerce had become central to the company's growth strategy. 'Digital commerce is now central to the company's growth strategy, describing it as a core growth engine and saying the Unicommerce integration would support a more resilient, technology-driven fulfillment ecosystem', she said

Kapil Makhija, managing director and CEO of Unicommerce, said the home and furniture category continued to show strong online growth. 'We are pleased to support Nayasa with a unified technology platform that enables scalable, data-driven operations and enhances end-customer experience across channels,' he said.

Unicommerce operates as a software-as-a-service platform that enables end-to-end management of e-commerce operations for brands, sellers and logistics providers.
