The Ambani family made a striking appearance at the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, blending Indian heritage with global luxury fashion during the inauguration of the National Pavilion of India.

The family hosted an intimate gathering in Venice on May 7, drawing attention for their elegant outfits that showcased a mix of traditional Indian craftsmanship and contemporary couture styling.

At the centre of the evening was Nita Ambani, who chose a classic gold tissue saree that reflected timeless Indian elegance. The shimmering ensemble was paired with diamond-and-emerald jewellery and styled with a simple bun, creating a refined look that highlighted traditional Indian attire on an international cultural platform. Her appearance was widely seen as a tribute to India's textile heritage and luxury craftsmanship.

Radhika Merchant opted for a soft mint-blue one-shoulder gown featuring Grecian-inspired draping and crystal detailing along the neckline. The flowing silhouette, combined with a structured waist design, gave the look a modern yet ethereal appeal. She accessorised the ensemble with statement diamond earrings and a matching arm cuff while styling her hair in a sleek ponytail that complemented the gown's contemporary aesthetic.

Isha Ambani chose a dramatic wine-coloured floor-length gown that merged Western couture structure with draped detailing inspired by traditional Indian silhouettes. The outfit featured intricate gold embroidery and floral motifs extending across the shoulder and bodice. She completed the look with emerald jewellery, soft waves, and bold makeup, creating a regal appearance during the Venice event.

The Ambani family's appearance at the Venice Biennale also highlighted India's growing cultural presence on global art and fashion stages. Alongside Nita, Isha, and Radhika, other family members, including Anant Ambani and Anand Piramal, attended the event as part of the Indian delegation supporting the national pavilion initiative.
