Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced additional bus services and special fare discounts ahead of the upcoming Ugadi and Eid festivities, aiming to accommodate the increased travel demand across the state.
Officials confirmed that the move is part of KSRTC's annual festive travel plan, ensuring smoother connectivity for passengers during the holiday season.
The transport corporation will deploy extra buses on popular routes, particularly those connecting Bengaluru with major towns and pilgrimage centers, as well as tourist destinations across Karnataka. Priority will be given to intercity express and deluxe services, with reservations available online and at KSRTC counters.
In addition to increased services, KSRTC is offering discounted fares for select journeys booked in advance. Passengers can avail themselves of special rates for both regular and premium buses, while concessions are also available for senior citizens, students, and differently-abled travelers.
