Further in the podcast, the hosts also referenced some GoPro footage said to have come from the incident, claiming the camera was thrown from the vehicle during the violent impact.Despite the resurfacing of these reports online, no evidence has linked the earlier crash to Loftis' death, and officials have yet to confirm the exact cause of his death. The podcasters alleged, "The GoPro footage that they had flew out of the windscreen of the car and landed in the grass; it's literally filming the car on fire. Like, if they didn't have people, and a lot of people bailed too because they did not want to be there when the cops showed up. And that's really, in my opinion, that's horrible."
They also added an update saying, "I think Kyle got out pretty quick. Everyone was saying that he was able to get out of that side of the car because it wasn't as mangled, but the owner of the car was trapped in there while it was on fire."
