The Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission is set to organise a mega job fair at the University of Lucknow as part of efforts to connect youth with employment opportunities across multiple sectors.
The recruitment event will be held at the Malaviya Auditorium and is expected to see participation from more than 35 companies offering over 2,500 job opportunities. Officials said companies from sectors including automobile, electronics, tourism and hospitality, manufacturing, information technology, IT-enabled services, banking, financial services, insurance, and apparel will participate in the drive.
Among the major firms expected to take part are Paytm, Hitachi, Barbeque Nation, Shahi Industries, Swift Truck, and GM Modular.
Officials stated that candidates with qualifications ranging from Class 8 pass to ITI, polytechnic, graduate, BTech, and MBA levels will be eligible to participate. The general age bracket for applicants has been fixed between 18 and 45 years.
Mission Director Pulkit Khare is expected to attend the event as chief guest. Authorities said the recruitment fair has been designed to provide employment opportunities to candidates from diverse educational backgrounds and skill levels.
