Which team has the most IPL titles?
CSK and MI have won the most titles, i.e., five each. CSK has won the coveted title in the following years: 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021, and 2023. Meanwhile, MI has won it in the following seasons: 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020.
First team to win multiple IPL trophies
CSK was the first team to win multiple IPL titles. They won back-to-back in 2010 and 2011, becoming the first franchise to have multiple IPL trophies.

CSK, MI, and KKR are the only teams that have won multiple IPL titles. CSK did it in 2011, MI in 2015, and KKR in 2014.
Teams that have never won an IPL trophy
There are eight teams that have played in the league and have never won an IPL trophy. These are Delhi Capitals (formerly Delhi Daredevils), Punjab Kings (formerly Kings XI Punjab), Lucknow Super Giants, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Pune Warriors, Gujarat Lions, and Rising Pune Supergiant.
