About the internship

Arjo provides medical equipment and solutions for hospitals and elderly care markets, including pressure area care, patient handling, diagnostics, and related healthcare solutions. ArjoHuntleigh Healthcare India Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arjo AB Sweden, has operated in India for over 25 years with a presence across 39 cities and more than 200 employees. The company specializes in Pressure Injury Prevention, Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) Prevention, Medical Beds, Patient Handling, and Diagnostics, while maintaining a leadership position in medical equipment rentals and capital equipment sales under an ISO 13485 certified Quality Management System.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Prepare Instructions for Use (IFU) and Service Manuals.
2. Prepare and review product specifications.
3. Create manufacturing documentation.
4. Prepare complaint handling documentation.
5. Assist in establishing supplier controls.
6. Support documentation for field action and corrective action processes.
7. Contribute to real-time quality and manufacturing documentation projects.

Other requirements

1. ME or MTech in Mechanical Engineering.

2. ME or MTech in Production or Manufacturing Engineering with interest or exposure to Quality Management or Manufacturing Systems.

3. Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems.

4. Knowledge of ISO 13485 for medical devices would be an added advantage.

5. Good documentation and analytical skills.

6. Interest in quality, manufacturing, and regulated industry environments.
