CG TET 2026 Paper 1 Exam Pattern
CG TET Paper 1 is being held to assess the eligibility of the candidates to teach primary classes (1 to 5). The paper consists of 150 questions which are divided into five sections. The total number of marks allotted are 150, meaning each question carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers which means that the candidates can attend as many questions as possible. The total time duration for Paper 1 is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Paper 2 of the CG TET exam determines the candidates eligibility who are aspiring to teach upper primary classes (6 to 8).The exam pattern for Paper 2 is also the same with 150 questions in total equalling to 150 marks with no negative marking provision. The only difference is that the candidates have to choose their preferred subject between Mathematics & Science OR Social Science. Candidates must attempt the paper within 2 hours 30 minutes.
