JAMMU: Rajan Sharawat, General Officer Commanding of the Rising Star Corps, on Saturday reviewed the operational preparedness of troops in Jammu and Samba districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

In a post on X, the Rising Star Corps stated that the GOC assessed the readiness and deployment of forces in these strategically significant areas.

The Jammu and Samba districts lie close to the International Border, making them critical from a security standpoint. The review focused on ensuring that troops remain fully prepared to respond to any operational challenges along the border.
