JAMMU: Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu has brought pride to the region as Avani Bhat of Class VII secured the 3rd Joint Position (North Zone - Junior Category) in the prestigious ICPE All-India School Contest 2025, organised by the Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment.
A virtual felicitation ceremony was conducted via MS Teams, where winners from across the Northern Zone were honoured for their outstanding performances. The event began with a welcome address by Sudheer Khurana, followed by a ceremonial lamp lighting.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Mahesh Marwaha, along with Guests of Honour Tushar Bandopadhyay, Mayank Prasad, and Bharat Jain.
Avani was recognised for her impressive PPT presentation on the topic, "How does using plastics in packaging keep food fresh and safe?" Her work highlighted the role of plastic packaging in preserving food quality, preventing contamination, and ensuring safe storage and transportation.
The achievement was guided by Meena Kumari, Coordinator of the Middle Wing. Both the student and mentor were awarded certificates, a trophy, and a digital watch in recognition of their accomplishment.
Congratulating the achiever, Rohini Aima, Principal-cum-Vice-Chairperson, praised Avani's dedication and appreciated the mentor's guidance in achieving success at the national level.
The school management, staff, and students extended their congratulations to Avani Bhat and her mentor for bringing laurels to the institution and wished them continued success in the future.
