CM Omar Abdullah Meets Delegations, Assures Time-Bound Redressal of Public Issues

JAMMU: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday met several legislators, delegations, and individuals who raised a range of public issues seeking timely redressal.

Among those who called on the Chief Minister were former minister Abdul Majid Wani and former legislator Chaman Lal, who highlighted key concerns related to their respective areas in Ramban.

A delegation from the Indian Institute of Architects J&K Chapter, led by Chairman Vikas Dubey, apprised the Chief Minister of issues arising from recent amendments to the Unified Building Bye-Laws.

Another delegation led by Prof Ravinder Singh, President of the Jammu University Teachers Association, raised matters concerning the teaching fraternity.

In addition, several individuals met the Chief Minister to present their grievances.

The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to all delegations and assured that all genuine issues would be addressed on priority in a time-bound manner.
