During the workshop, Nandini Nayar shared insights from her literary journey, with a special focus on her book Mules That Fall from the Sky. She elaborated on the extensive research behind the book, particularly her exploration of the role and suffering of animals during World War I and World War II, including their use in wartime-even those taken from zoos. Her discussion offered students a deeper understanding of how historical realities can be transformed into compelling narratives.

Drawing from her own writing process, Nandini Nayar explained the step-by-step approach to crafting stories, helping students understand how ideas develop into structured and meaningful works. The session proved both thought-provoking and interactive, encouraging students to think creatively and critically.
