JAMMU: Arjunveer Singh, a Class 11 student of Air Force School Jammu, has brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir by securing the prestigious Srijan internship with Indian Space Research Organisation and Defence Research and Development Organisation, which will be conducted at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal.
Arjunveer earned the internship after securing 2nd rank in the North Zone at the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) National Level Camp held at Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar.
More than five lakh students from across the country participated in the first regional round of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan held earlier this year. Out of them, only the top 500 students qualified for the final round conducted at IIT Gandhinagar.
Arjunveer Singh clinched the second rank in the North Zone to bag the coveted Srijan internship opportunity.
In recognition of his achievement, he was also awarded a trophy, certificate and cash prize.
The Srijan internship, meant for high-performing VVM students, will provide Arjunveer an opportunity to work alongside eminent researchers at premier national institutions.
The achievement marks a significant milestone in Arjunveer's academic journey and reflects his dedication towards science and innovation.
The Principal of Air Force School Jammu congratulated Arjunveer and said that his accomplishment would inspire students across Jammu and Kashmir to pursue excellence in science and research.
