NEW DELHI: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday congratulated Samrat Choudhary on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar.

He expressed confidence that the new NDA government in the state will fulfil public expectations and accelerate development under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a post on X, Singh wrote, "Heartiest congratulations to Samrat Choudhary on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar, and to Vijay Kumar Choudhary and Bijendra Prasad Yadav who took oath alongside him as Deputy Chief Ministers. This new NDA team of Bihar is a confluence of energy and experience."

"Under the guidance of Prime Minister @narendramodi, this government will not only fulfill the expectations of the people of Bihar but also take the state's development to new heights. I extend my best wishes to this new team of Bihar for an extremely successful tenure," the post read.
