JAMMU: A four-day Sports Activity Camp concluded on a high note at Mount Litera Zee School, Trikuta Nagar Extension, Jammu, where students showcased enthusiasm and sporting talent across a range of activities.
The camp, held from March 18 to 21, was organised in collaboration with the Raffa Boules India Federation and culminated in a vibrant closing ceremony attended by distinguished guests.
Principal Manikarnika Sharma welcomed the gathering and expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest Kaushal Kumar, SP and Dy Commandant 1IRP 18 Battalion, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, and Guest of Honour Bhushan Kumar, Director Academics, Zee Learn Ltd, for gracing the occasion.
The camp featured a mix of unique and intellectually engaging sports, including Bocce Ball, Speed Ball and the Go Game, aimed at promoting physical fitness, strategic thinking and overall personality development among students.
Students who excelled in various categories were felicitated during the ceremony. In Bocce Ball, top honours were secured by Rajveer Nanda (Under-8), Ketvi Gupta (Under-10), Daivik Gupta (Under-12) and Mannat Dogra (Under-14). In Speed Ball, standout performers included Aakshi Tharmatt and Nikhil Verma (Under-8), Garv Mahajan (Under-10), Amaira Mahajan and Divyam Mathur (Under-12), and Rudra Sharma (Under-14), among others.
Addressing the gathering, the chief guest and guest of honour encouraged students to actively participate in sports and co-curricular activities for their holistic development.
Managing Director Neha Gupta extended her appreciation to the guests, school staff and students for making the camp a success. She also acknowledged the contribution of Sunny Nanda, General Secretary of the federation, for organising and managing the event.
The initiative reflects the school's commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals by integrating academics with sports and life skills.
